We are seeking our next motivated Analyst to join our dynamic Operations team of 8 Analysts.

We use machine learning technology for reading and interpreting financial news and execute our trading strategies based on the information we receive. We cover the US, European and most of the Asian stock markets, trading both individual shares and funds. Since our inception in 2008, we have continuously grown and diversified into new business areas driven by our technology. We have a new office in Nordhavn with a water view and have over 60 bright and ambitious team members.

About the Job

You will be a part of a dynamic team whose primary responsibility is to ensure that all algorithms and systems run smoothly on a daily basis. You will prepare input data and monitor algorithms from both a profit and risk perspective. You will also assist in quantitative analyses and work towards optimizing and streamlining data-driven processes and workflows. In addition, you will collaborate closely with our Tech and Quant team as well as our broker. At Alipes, we offer a steep learning curve with responsibility and ownership from day one.

About You

• You have a Masters in Economics, Finance or related field, or a Bachelors with some relevant professional experience

• Enjoy working with Excel and have experience with VBA

• Structured and enjoy analyzing large data sets

• Conscientious with an eye for detail, even when tasks become routine or pressured

• You take initiative and ownership in your work

• Analytical and love working with numbers - you have a great interest in the financial markets, especially the stock market

• An understanding of how to navigate annual reports and experience working with Bloomberg or Reuters is a plus.

• Experience working with SQL and Python is a plus
